First, Complete Care at Green Knoll continues to receive ongoing guidance from the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization, which are closely monitoring the national and global situation as it evolves.

The best way to prevent infection of COVID-19 or other viruses like seasonal flu is to avoid exposure. The CDC recommends these everyday actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses:

  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your sleeve, not your hands.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, if soap and water are not available.
  • Avoid close contact with others if you are sick. (i.e. Stay home from work.)
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • The best action you can take is to get vaccinated. It’s not too late to protect yourselves and being vaccinated does protect our residents.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects.

As per the State of Emergency in NJ and consultation with our Medical Directors, Complete Care at Green Knoll has implemented the following policies below:

  • We continue to ensure that our vulnerable residents will not receive any cross-exposure to the virus. We have been COVID-free since May 2019 with our residents.
  • We will reschedule most non-essential Doctor visits and consultations out of the facility.

We now have all non-essential services i.e. Dental, vision, and podiatry available to our residents.

  • We schedule non-essential Doctor visits and consultations, both, in and out of our facility.
  • We offer End of Life, Hospice, and Compassionate Care visitation.
  • We have both dining and recreational activities and have been allowing family visitation both, indoors and outdoors.
  • We respectfully ask our families to maintain social distancing and proper hand hygiene when taking residents “Out on Pass” as to protect them and the population upon return.
